Argo:
Charging current distributors are used in installations where various accumulators (in a 12 or 24 V connection) are used independently. Charging current distributors are needed to charge the accessory and start battery separately in, for instance, yachts and mobile homes. This is also feasible with a hand switch or separation relay, but these do not provide maximum safety (the dynamo tension increases when switching) and may even cause a fire. In addition, the various battery sets are charged simultaneously and separately with a charging current distributor, i.e. the battery that has discharged the most will receive the most charging current. The ARGO charging current distributors from Victron Energy are available for 2 or 3 batteries and with compensation diode. The battery isolators feature a low voltage of the alternator to get an optimum charge. The SKYLLA chargers have the necessary features built in.

Argo FET:
The ARGO FET battery isolators are available for 2 or 3 batteries. In contrast with the ARGO battery isolators, FET isolators have virtually no voltage loss. The voltage drop is less than 0,02V at low current and averages 0,1V at higher currents.
